Biography
I have worked in the field of psychotherapy since 1994. Before becoming licensed in the state of California, I worked in the field of wilderness therapy.

I offer holistic centered psychotherapy which focuses on the integration of mind, body, and soul. With a background in depth psychology, I pay close attention to both conscious and unconscious motivations in order to better understand how to help my clients regain a sense of inner balance. I invite into my practice clients who need help in connecting their current difficulties to their larger soul story.

I celebrate my clients' abilities to work through dated, dysfunctional beliefs and patterns and adopt realistic, functional, and present-centered ways of seeing themselves and the potentiality of their lives. I work with adults using mindfulness techniques and body centered awareness. I am also trained by the Parnell Institute in Attachment Focused EMDR and in somatic Natural Processing as techniques in healing from trauma. I believe that each person is uniquely designed to heal and unfurl to his or her true potential and in my practice we work together to discover the way!

As a certified Imago Couples Therapist, I invite couples into deeper connection and intimacy by fostering safe and compassionate communication. I offer individual, couples and family counseling. My husband, a certified Imago Educator, and I lead "Thriving in Relationship" groups throughout the year.
