      <title>Narrative Therapy Salon: Life in the Understory (25 Apr 2026)</title>

&lt;p&gt;Come join us Saturday, April 25th at the Monterey Museum of Art in this Narrative Therapy solan. Brian Wainwright has roughly 20,000 hours of narrative therapy practice. He has taught in various university settings including CSUMB, CSUSB, and USF and has has provided consultation and trainings in both remote and in person settings.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;This solan will feature:&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;A. Theoretical Overview of Narrative Therapy, Specifically the "Narrative Mode" of listening and responding&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;B. Narrative Letter writing examples&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;C. Couples Counseling and De-Coupling Interventions&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;D. Transcript work&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;E. Live Interviewing Practice&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;&lt;br&gt;&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;&lt;br&gt;&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;&lt;br&gt;&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;&lt;br&gt;&lt;/p&gt;

      <title>Psychobabble - April (In May) - Morning Forest Mozy (2 May 2026)</title>

&lt;p&gt;Programs co-chair Michael Guichet invites Monterey CAMFT members to come out to the "Rip" Van Winkle Open Space, 1072 Congress Ave., Pacific Grove (across from Forest Grove Elementary School)&amp;nbsp;https://maps.app.goo.gl/WuHN77NaUHPkvtVeA.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;This event could be explained as a slow mozy through the woods (as opposed to the a hike). Come and enjoy the natural beauty of Monterey and mozy through the woods. During the walk Mike will propose a few minute long reflections (in an effort to mix up who is in conversation).&amp;nbsp;&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;Itineray:&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;9:00 am - 9:15 am - Meet and gather&lt;br&gt;
9:15 am - 10:45 am - Mozy through the woods intuitivly with small exercises suggested by Mike&lt;br&gt;
10:45 am - 11:00 am - Ruturn to parking area&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;This event is free to member of MC-CAMFT and we also accept a 5 dollar donation to help with future social events costs.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;Maybe bring along a resource and book to share about. This is an unstructured event and come on by to connect with peers.&lt;/p&gt;
