Biography
I welcome anyone who is looking to enhance and make meaning of their life. Unhealed wounds of abandonment, abuse, betrayal, loss and neglect lead to feelings of shame and fear, which keep you from having the relationships, resources and overall life experience that you want. I have expertise in identifying these core sources of pain, healing those wounds, understanding how they currently impact your life and, of course, changing those life patterns so you can experience something new!
As a dance/movement therapist, I offer a unique approach to healing and growth. The body holds wisdom that is essential to truly understanding both your deepest pain and your strongest capacities. Because of this, I incorporate somatic awareness and expressive body movement into my sessions.
Feeling compelled to understand the essence of suffering and fulfillment beyond what traditional psychotherapy addresses, I pursued education and training in shamanic healing. In my practice, I weave together the ancient wisdom of the shamans, the personal wisdom of your body and mind, and ground breaking modern psychology.
