Biography
Graduate of Johns Hopkins, Dr. Schwartz was formerly director of Masters and Johnson Institute and co-directed 4 inpatient programs in Los Angeles, New Orleans, Kansas City and St Louis with Dr. Masters before opening Castlewood Treatment Center for eating disorders which he codirected for 15 years. He has edited 3 books and published a great deal in the fields of couples therapy. eating disorder and post-traumatic stress. He has lectured to more than 10000 therapists in the US and Europe. He has been a therapist for more than 40 years and now specializes in trauma, eating disorder, sexual disorders, marriage, addictions, and bipolar disorder. He is trained in internal family systems, Dialectical behavior therapy, EMDR, and is a Supervisor in sex therapy. His passion is working with couples.

The Monterey County Chapter of the California Association of Marriage Family Therapists (MC-CAMFT)  is a 501(c)6 non-profit organization.

MC-CAMFT Grievance Policy:  If a grievance regarding CEUs is brought to the attention of the MC-CAMFT Board the board will review it and will vote on the validity of the grievance.  If the grievance is proven valid by the Board a full or partial refund will be given.
