Biography
I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and Certified Sensorimotor Psychotherapist. Since graduating from San Jose State University, CA in 2005, I have worked as a psychotherapist in various locations in California and Alaska. I began my career in the mental health field, working as a social-worker in Denmark, working for 15+ years with families.

I am passionate about my work as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. In a comfortable, supportive and relaxed atmosphere, I provide brief and longer term psychotherapy to individuals, couples, and families. My style is engaged and active. I offer a highly personalized approach tailored to each of my client's individual needs to help attain the personal growth they're striving for. My goal is to empower clients to uncover their true potential and lead a life that is worth celebrating. While we can't change difficult situations of the past, we can work together to better understand and resolve the challenges we meet in life.

My approach is based on a humanistic perspective with focus on personal strengths. I am certified in Sensorimotor Psychotherapy, and use Attachment, and Mindfulness. I support clients uncovering long-standing behavior patterns or negative perceptions, which may be holding them back from experiencing a more meaningful life.

If you're looking for extra support and guidance through a challenging situation or ready to move in a new direction, I look forward to working with you. I work with a range of emotional and behavioral issues that span from PTSD/Trauma, depression, anxiety, grief counseling, and beyond. I am looking forward to supporting your process towards healing.
