Biography
I am an Associate Marriage and Family Therapist with Shine a Light Counseling Center in Monterey. I work with individual adults, couples, and families wishing to improve their well-being, life satisfaction, and relationships with themselves and those around them.
The core of my orientation is humanistic and client-centered. I offer a warm, supportive environment in which you are welcome just as you are right now.
I have decades of training and experience in Voice Dialogue, a rich, depth-oriented form of parts-work that is very supportive of self-discovery and integration of all aspects of ourselves and an integral part of relational work. I am also trained in dreamwork, Gestalt, Hakomi, and mindfulness-based psychotherapy. From my previous career as a physical therapist and bodyworker, I bring an appreciation of the body-mind-soul connection into sessions.

The Monterey County Chapter of the California Association of Marriage Family Therapists (MC-CAMFT)  is a 501(c)6 non-profit organization.

MC-CAMFT Grievance Policy:  If a grievance regarding CEUs is brought to the attention of the MC-CAMFT Board the board will review it and will vote on the validity of the grievance.  If the grievance is proven valid by the Board a full or partial refund will be given.
