Biography
Micky DeSilva is an Associate Marriage and Family Therapist, with over ten years of experience in the mental health field. As a Licensed practitioner of the healing arts, Micky takes an integrative and holistic approach to her clinical work. With a background in political science and clinical psychology, she utilizes psychodynamic theory and mindfulness to support clients on their wellness journey. She believes the development of somatic awareness and emotional intelligence is fundamental in creating lasting change. Her intention as a clinician is to create a safe space for clients and couples to explore their authentic needs and desires. Using therapy as a tool of empowerment and healing, clients are able to create a more fulfilling life.
