Biography

I value and enjoy working collaboratively to help you identify and overcome obstacles to inner calm, peace, and happiness. My approach is integrative and customized to address each individual client’s life circumstances, needs, and wishes. Client-centered, our work together can embrace advanced evidenced-based treatments, as well as explore how the unconscious influences our behavior, with the most important detail being that it all works for you. From a purely theoretical perspective, my approach is rooted in Gestalt, integrating (when appropriate) modalities such as Mindfulness-based CBT, Internal Family Systems, as well as Emotion Focused, and all embraced with a heartfelt psychodynamic curiosity. I have a Masters in Clinical Psychology from Antioch University and a Bachelors in Communication from the University of Georgia. I am a licensed CA MFT (marriage and family therapist).

The Monterey County Chapter of the California Association of Marriage Family Therapists (MC-CAMFT) is a 501(c)6 non-profit organization.

MC-CAMFT Grievance Policy: If a grievance regarding CEUs is brought to the attention of the MC-CAMFT Board the board will review it and will vote on the validity of the grievance. If the grievance is proven valid by the Board a full or partial refund will be given.
