Monthly Psych Hike

Saturday, August 26, 10:00 - 12:00 pm (Weather Permitting)

Schedule: Check-in with Amy from 9:50 – 10am

Free to all Chapter members

Psych Hike is a way for MC-CAMFT members to socialize and move our bodies while enjoying the natural beauty of the Monterey Bay area.

This month's location: Garzas Canyon Trail, Garland Ranch in Carmel Valley

https://goo.gl/maps/y5Ly6nEGEt1te5Si8

Moderate 4.2 mile loop.  2 hour duration.

This is my absolute favorite hike in all of the Monterey Bay Area!

You can park along Garzas Road along the wooden fence.  We will meet at the trailhead on Garzas Rd. If you see horses in stables, you are in the right place.  This is a low traffic hike with no restrooms. Please plan accordingly. The trail begins in the oak trees and gradually descends into the pines where we will meet up with the beautiful Garzas Creek. The terrain is diverse with plenty of shade and sunshine. We will be crossing the creek a few times over bridges and stones. Wear sturdy shoes.

Please call Amy if you get lost or are registered and unable to make it. (831) 200-3227

We will be reaching out to all registrants to collect cell phone numbers the day before just in case we run into trail closures or inclement weather and have to adjust or cancel.

Please review our Psych Hike Activity Guidelines and Legal Waiver before registering. When you register, you’ll receive the link to sign and return your waiver.  Once we have this from you, you will not need to sign it again for future hikes.

Due to the nature of this event, no CEs are offered.
