2900 Parker Flats Cut Off Rd, Seaside, CA 93955 (park on the street, outside of the Central Coast Veterans Cemetery Foundation)
We will meet by the trail head, at the top of Parker Flats Cut Off Road. Please call "Jung Hwa" if you get lost or are registered and unable to make it. (831) 204-8702
Fort Ord Trailhead: Easy, 5.5 mile out and back. No Drop Hike (slowest hiker sets the pace) and handicapped friendly. 2 hour duration.
Opened to the public in 2009, Fort Ord State Park provides nearly 1,000 acres dedicated to public land, and 4 miles of ocean beach with beautiful views of the Monterey Bay National Marine Sanctuary. Fort Ord's dunes and beaches are home to many endangered species. Please help us preserve these sensitive habitats by staying on designated trails and following CA State Park rules. Thanks for partnering with California State Parks by practicing "pack it out" rules for visitor food and other trash.
**Please call/text "Jung Hwa" if you have accessibility/mobility questions, get lost, or are registered and unable to make it. (831) 204-8702**
We will be reaching out to all registrants to collect cell phone numbers the day before just in case we run into trail closures or inclement weather and have to adjust or cancel.
Please review our Psych Hike Activity Guidelines and Legal Waiver before registering. When you register, you’ll receive the link to sign and return your waiver. Once we have this from you, you will not need to sign it again for future hikes.
Due to the nature of this event, no CEs are offered.
