Programs co-chair Michael Guichet invites Monterey CAMFT members to come out to the Fieldworks Brewing Company - 560 Munras Ave, Monterey, CA 93940 near Alverado Street.
This event is free to member of MC-CAMFT and we also accept a 5 dollar donation to help with future social events costs.
Maybe bring along a resource and book to share about. This is an unstructured event and come on by to connect with peers.
Psych Hike is a way for MC-CAMFT members to socialize and move our bodies while enjoying the natural beauty of the Monterey Bay area.

Inspiration Point Trail

We will meet right outside the parking lot by the benches and head up to Inspiration Point.
INSPIRATION TRAIL: 4.5 mile hike, 850 FT. elevation climb
The road leading up the mountain toward Inspiration Point is a moderate to strenuous hike. The trailhead takes you through a flat bed of non-native European grasses. The Coast Live Oak trees provide cool shade as the trail begins to get steeper. Approximately ¾ of the way, there are gorgeous views of the Carmel coast and it is a great place to take a break. Just around the corner from here is the mountaintop where hikers will be relieved from the uphill climb. To the right of the trail is a picnic bench that sits on the edge of Inspiration Point where hikers will get the bird’s eye view of Carmel and the coast nearby.
We will be email all registrants the day before the hike to confirm who will be in attendance. This is when we will decide to cancel if inclimate weather is predicted.
Please review our Psych Hike Activity Guidelines and Legal Waiver before registering. When you register, you’ll receive the link to sign and return your waiver. Once we have this from you, you will not need to sign it again for future hikes.
Due to the nature of this event, no CEs are offered.
